Experience behind Cut Assembly

What can we help with?

Bring an idea, recorded footage or an edit that needs another pair of eyes.

Editing and finishing

Find the story in your footage, or get an existing edit ready to share. Editing, titles, colour and sound, with attention to how the whole film feels.

Interviews and business films

Executive interviews, market commentary and research films. We shape the conversation into an edit that is easy to follow, without losing the meaning.

Motion design

Animation for ideas, information and campaigns. From typography and brand graphics to charts that explain the numbers.

Campaign versions

Shorter edits and different formats for the places your film needs to appear. We adjust the framing, graphics, captions and sound for each version.

Production and specialist work

Some projects need a wider crew. We can bring in independent photographers, 3D artists and compositors, with the people and costs confirmed for your project.

The work, fee, review stages and delivery date are agreed before we start.

The studio

Work directly
with the people
making it.

Cut Assembly is an independent video production and motion design agency. We work with brands, financial services teams and agencies, from a single edit to a full production.

A senior creative leads each project, with independent photographers, 3D artists and compositors brought in when the work needs them.

Our approach draws on more than 15 years of creative experience. This includes financial communications and work on Unsung, a nursing recruitment campaign recognised at the Recruitment Marketing Awards and PPMA Awards.

From first email to final film

  1. Tell us about it

What are you making, who is it for and when do you need it? A short email is enough to start.

  2. Make a plan

We look at the material and agree the work, cost and schedule, including time for your feedback.

  3. Review the work

You see the edit, share feedback and approve the final version. We prepare the files for the places you need them.

A few practical questions

Can you work as part of our agency?
Yes. We can work under your agency’s name and alongside your producers, designers and account team. We agree who handles feedback and how the project files will be handed over.
Can you help with a tight deadline?
Send the deadline and tell us what is ready. We will check the material and our availability before confirming what can be delivered in the time.
How much will it cost?
We quote for the project after looking at what is involved. Your quote sets out the deliverables, fee and review stages. If the brief changes, we agree any extra cost before continuing.
Can you handle sensitive material?
We agree the tools, access and transfer method before you share files. For financial work, your team retains approval of the wording, figures and disclosures.
Do you use AI?
Where it helps and the brief permits it. Creative decisions and final checks stay with us. We do not upload your source footage to generative AI services as part of our standard service.
Who will work on my project?
A senior creative leads the project. For work that needs other specialists, we confirm the team, responsibilities and costs with you first.

Let’s talk

What are you
working on?

Email us with a few details about the project. It does not need to be a finished brief.
